National Skipping Challenge Spring Term Winners

Congratulations to this Terms Winners in the National Skipping Challenge.

Once again the competition has been dominated by the amazing skippers at Trefonen Primary School in Oswestry, Shropshire.
The outstanding skipper this term was Stephanie Gardener who won the continuous crossover section with a score of 800, and the pretzel section with a national record score of 504. Not content with that she came second and third, with different partners, in the face to face section and was runner up in the double unders section.

Apart from the excellent performences at Trefonen an outstanding acheivement was by James Brosman of St. Josephs Primary School in Harrow, who won the double dutch section with a score of 642. Of equal merit was the performance of pupils of Gastrells Primary School in Stroud who came second to Trefonen in the keep the pot boiling section with a score of 1257.
Over 300 children from schools all over the UK took part.
