National Skipping Day 2018 (23rd March) was a great success with 172 schools and 42,350 children enjoying healthy exercise through skipping.
We are grateful to the many schools who gave us positive feedback. Special thanks go to St John’s Primary School in Kingston-upon-Thames for a range of superb photos and The Tower School in West Sussex for photos they posted on twitter.
Many schools took part in the National Skipping Challenge, with very welcome first entries from schools in York, Rotherham, Colchester, Worcester Park and Great Yarmouth. Information about National Skipping Day 2019 will be posted in September.
National Skipping Day is an annual event, organised by Skipping Workshops and sponsored by Nortech Jump Ropes, where children from across the UK celebrate skipping as a healthy and fun form of exercise.
